Cauliflower

Racing Name – Cauliflower (5 year old gelding)

Stunningly handsome and can you believe he is only five years old? This incredible thoroughbred gelding was sold through the Inglis Premier Sales for 80k as a yearling. He went on to race under Patrick Payne. Sadly he retired due to injury. His injury wasn’t bad enough to retire him fully, and he had positive veterinary advice that he could be rehabilitated.

Cauliflower was donated to Rehab4Rehab to complete our retraining program and with expert veterinary care and a rehabilitation plan he was quickly on the road to recovery.

Although, he didn’t miss a beat as whilst he was resting he was still able to take part in our equine-assisted psychology programs helping children and teens suffering with mental health concerns. He passed with flying colours and many kids and teens spent their much needed therapy time with Cauliflower. He even helped one child who had refused school to go back and this child is now loving school.
